3:08pm, Sat, 21stMay'05, Notes: Last Sem I was so keen to be in the final year and getting the opportunity to do something that I've been studying for. I wondered what working life felt like and i THOUGHT it was fun and i THOUGHT when there's no homework and exams, things would be happier. Well, I'm wrong. I admit.. The fact that you have to wake up so early in the morning (5.30-6.00am) and sleep at 11pm-12am is killing me. If you know the norm in MMU, we never sleep til it was 3am and onli wake up at 8.30am (that is, IF we have classes at 9am!) or else, we'll be awake onli at 11am. Back to the topic.. The jams, tolls, KL drivers and not to mention the curses that my fellow colleagues(you know who you are ^_^) blurt out when someone suddenly cut their line or pissed them off somehow.. One day, i might end up cursing like them too.. But for now.. I'll just sleep my way to work. HEHE! Well, there's regrets and fun too, I guess. I like the fact that I can wake up early to listen to the Morning Crew make a fool out of themselves. HAHAha.. Lame People. But it's rather entertaining and I get lotsa updates about the world of sports and entertainment. Indirectly taking part in the competition that they have like the Word Competition and the Pirate Movie thingy is somewhat fun and The Adventures of Dr. Know-It-All is also very informative, except for his unbearable ear straining voice. Arriving to work early is also fun bcos I get to surf the net and get updated with my daily routine stuff I've been doing when I was studying. Hurm, that's about it I guess.
Lesson of the Week: In the Sales World, Customers Are Always Right. In Working World, Whatever Bosses Say, They're Right.. Even If They Are Wrong and Their Ideas Dun Make Sense, They're Right! YEAH RIGHT! >:Þ
On the first day of work, everyone was hyped and looking forward to start the engines in their heads after 2 weeks of resting. :p While we were stuck in the jam, it occurs to me how important music is to us. Escpecially those stuck in the jam. Their lips are moving like they are singing without voices, heads bopping to the sound and that keeps them awake. Without music, some wud fall asleep by the time they reached the toll. HAhaha! And for that I salute to all the music makers, the radio stations, the deeejays and also the one who found the theory of broadcasting on radio and anything that leads to it />^_^);;
Basically my routine at work is the same, reach at 8am, check emails, on y! msgr, lepak, take deep breath and at 9.. start workin like hell.. lots of work to be done, proposals, templates, booklets, videos, storyboards, audios, bla bla bla.. too many things lined up for us, too little time. Although I gotta admit that I am kind of slow when it comes to work, even in my blog I used 5 hrs to complete a post.. furthermore, when it comes to graphical works.. I tend to be very particular about things that I do. I am partially a perfectionist I guess, but this makes me dem slow and I hate it. I rather do things fast n not so detailed.. but I can't. It's my nature. Oops.. back to my work routine.. at 3 or so, have lunch and then at 6.30 to 7.30pm, leave work, at 9.30 to 10.30pm, reach, take bath and sleep at 11.30 to 12.30am. FUh! Tiring.. (@_@);;
Well, that's work life in a glance.. 14 weeks.. and so far.. 3 weeks.. full of stress and sadness from all sorts of people and less fun and laughter.. and the list goes on n on n on.. I'll cut n paste it a million times if I have to. O_o
I guess that's all for now.. HEHe.. Til I have the time to write again~ I'll cya when I cya~!
